First 100 Days
The first 100 days focus on proving that city government can move fast, communicate clearly, and deliver visible improvements in daily life. My strategy centers on "visible wins + structural reform" to set a brand-new tone for an administration that values accountability and precision.
The Plan
- Establish a cross-agency Performance & Accountability Cabinet and launch a live, weekly public Mayor's Dashboard on Day 1 to track progress out in the open.
- Order full public audits of exploitative utility rate structures, unresolved 311 request backlogs, and broken child support arrears systems.
- Launch an immediate infrastructure blitz, deploying rapid crews to proactively repair potholes, sidewalks, and streetlights across historically neglected wards.
- Freeze non-essential, duplicate IT vendor contracts across all departments to immediately free up millions in waste to fund the OneDC transition.
- Introduce legislation on Day 1 for full pass-through child support payments and the emergency tenant protection package to halt unjust evictions.
