Four-Year Vision
My four-year vision is to fundamentally transform Washington, DC into the most digitally accessible, transparent, and affordable municipal government in America. By the end of this term, the District will be a city where the foundation is modern, and the cost of living no longer forces legacy residents to choose between their home and their future.
The Plan
- Achieve a definitive 25% reduction in juvenile violent crime through the citywide scaling of the Safe Passage networks, violence interruption teams, and youth mentorship pipelines.
- Complete the OneDC digital infrastructure, successfully consolidating 90%+ of city services into a single portal and driving down service wait times dramatically.
- Deliver 20,000 newly constructed affordable housing units while stabilizing the rental market through expanded tenant legal access and stricter landlord oversight.
- Completely eradicate food deserts east of the river by opening new grocery nodes and community-led food cooperatives.
